sedisto provides access technology for self-storage, for example locks and the associated software. The app is part of it.

sedisto and your provider

You rent your storage unit not from sedisto but from your provider. Your provider uses sedisto’s technology at its site and registers you with your e-mail address so that you get access with the app.

For questions about your rental agreement, your storage unit or your access times, your provider is therefore the right contact. If you want your data deleted completely with the provider, also contact them directly. Who to reach and when is described under Get help.

Privacy in brief

• sedisto is based in Germany. European data protection law applies to your data.
• We store only what your access requires: your e-mail address, to match you to your provider, your access rights and times, and a log of door openings that your provider needs to keep its site secure.
• Fingerprint and face recognition stay on your phone. The app only learns whether the check succeeded.
• Bluetooth serves solely to connect to the modules in the building. The app does not track where you are.
• Your provider, not sedisto, is responsible for your rental agreement and your customer data.
